Our society

Every business has a moral responsibility towards the society it draws its resources from. We regularly participate in social and community development projects both in our areas, and in other parts of the country.

We work very closely with two NGOs :

IIMPACT

IIMPACT provides educational opportunities to girls from socially and economically disadvantaged communities in India who traditionally have no access to schooling.

It was established with the aim of breaking the cycle of illiteracy that girls from such communities often face. This is achieved through local community-based Learning Centers, where girls receive meaningful and stimulating education up to Class 5 and are guided towards mainstream education.

Today, IIMPACT educates over 50,000 girls in 1500 villages across India.

Salaam Baalak Trust

Salaam Baalak Trust translates literally to a Trust that 'salutes a child' - Saluting the indomitable spirit of street children.

Girls and boys, under the age of 18 years, without any discrimination based on gender, religion, caste, colour, or nationality, living and working on the streets are welcomed at these centres.

Salaam Baalak Trust 'salutes' their resolve to live a life of dignity by providing them with care and love, along with health, nutrition, education, and vocational training facilities to fulfil their dreams.
